Local governments, the private sector and the NGO community
came together in this session to develop and deliver innovative strategies
to raise awareness about the transfer and use of sustainable technologies
considered crucial to meet the water needs of cities in the 21st century.
Interaction was a key element to the success of this session and
participants had the opportunity to discuss their thoughts with panelists,
stimulate new ideas, and strengthen their own capacity to deal with specific
challenges.
