UNEP IETC's involvement 
in the 3rd World Water Forum in Japan...


"Booth Exhibits and Poster Displays in Kyoto, Osaka and Shiga"

     
  IETC presented a showcase of new training and knowledge management tools at Water Expo in Osaka and Water Festival in Shiga.

On display was a wide variety of new information products and tools, including:

Aqua-shed: e-learning training package on integrated watershed management.

ESTIS: Information System (IS) management tool to assist the transfer of Environmentally Sound Technologies (ESTs).

maESTro II: on line resource to access and select Environmentally Sound Technologies (ESTs).

SAFFIRE: on line knowledge management tool for water information, resources and education.

PAMOLARE: training package on eutrophication management.

EMERALD: Internet portal that assists urban managers in taking everyday decisions to manage their local environment and water issues.
