Procurement

UNEP DTIE IETC is implementing a number of projects & activities in various locations and occasionally procures goods and services both locally and internationally. Contracts for the purchase or rental of services, supplies, equipment and other requirements shall be awarded after competitive bidding or calling of proposals depending on the value of the orders in accordance with the UN Financial Rules and Regulations.

In order to do business with the UN, the vendors need to be registered with its roster of vendors. For all the UNEP procurement, the Contracts & Procurement Section of United Nations Office at Nairobi (PTSS/UNON) is responsible and interested vendors are encouraged to visit its procurement page and register with its roster (see the link in Section 4 below).

Currently UNEP DTIE IETC is implementing the Support for the Environmental Management for the Iraq Marshlands Project and procurement opportunities under the project are also posted under the UNDG Iraq Trust Fund web-page(see the link in Section 4 below).
