INSIGHT, Winter '96 Edition
Architecture that Explores Nature and the Human Environment Since 1990, the Faculty of Architecture at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, has emphasized teaching ecologically and environmentally determined architectural design. From 1 through 12 April 1996, the faculty will present the first results of this work in an exhibition "Architecture and Environment" complemented by an international seminar scheduled for 2 April 1996. Themes to be considered in the exhibition and seminar include connections between buildings and the natural environment, ecologically determined architecture and town planning, sustainable urban development and building activities, and healthy housing environments.
