Welcome and Purpose of the meeting :
Mrs. Aloisi de Larderel will welcome participants and present the purpose of the meeting. She will get possible comments on the proposed agenda, and on the final version of minutes of the last meeting, which were circulated on 31 may 2001. Each participant will introduce him/herself.

Overview of UNEP activities :
Mrs. Aloisi de Larderel will present the outcome of the last UNEP Governing Council and 2nd Global Ministerial Environment Forum and the priorities given to IETC in that context. She will also present the main future events related to environment and sustainable development, to which IETC should contribute. Time will be given for questions and answers.

Follow-up given by IETC to IAB recommendations and achievements of 2001 Work Programme (Session 1)
Steve Halls will present IETC activities since last IAB, the partnerships developed, and the outputs which will be delivered in 2001.

Follow-up given by IETC to IAB recommendations and achievements of 2001 Work Programme (Session 2)
On the basis of 2000/2001 achievements Steve Halls will briefly introduce IETC draft biennial report. The Advisory Board will then comment on the achievements and on the corresponding report.

IETC website and future developments in the context of overall UNEP web policy :
Robert Rodriguez and Steve Halls will present the IETC website, and the future prospects of maESTro, in the context of the UNEP/GEF SANet (Sustainable Alternatives Network).

Presentation of proposal for 2002 work programme :
Steve Halls and IETC professionals will present an outline of the proposed work programme for 2002 : activities, outputs, allocation of resources in each area of focus (urban environmental management, and water management). A discussion will follow.
